A BRIEF HISTORY
Primeland Appraisal, bringing the Kenyan Real Estate Market to the World. PrimeLand Appraisal was established in 2012 by Simeon Rono and Lawrence sang. The firm was founded on the basic premise of providing world class Valuations and property consultancy services in East Africa to both the residents of the continent and its foreign investors. Simeon Rono, the company’s Chairman has an extensive experience in East Africa conducting property valuations in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. His unique experience and training provides him with a rare opportunity to understand the complex requirements of high profile international clients.

The directors are experienced Valuers and Real Estate Consultants who have served at senior levels and/or as directors in various consultancy firms in the past (See their individual Curriculum Vitae provided in this profile). The company operates in accordance with the laws of Kenya governing Valuation and Estate Agency Practices i.e.
- The Valuers Act (cap 532).
- The Estate Agents Act (cap 533) Laws of Kenya
The said laws deal with registration, licensing, scale of fees and disciplinary matters of Valuers and Estate Agents in this country. It is important also to note that the Directors are full members of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (I.S.K.) and also registered with the Valuers Registration Board, the two bodies regulating the activities of valuers in Kenya. I.S.K. in turn is affiliated to International Professional bodies namely:
- Association of Professional Societies of East Africa. (A.P.S.E.A.)
- Federation of International Surveyors (F.I.G.)
- Commonwealth Association of Surveying and Land Economy. (C.A.S.L.E.).
